Grace Bible Church (gbcph.org) does not collect personal information about website visitors without their consent. In cases when such information is requested to provide a service or respond to an inquiry, visitors only need to provide the minimal information necessary. Typically personal information is collected:
- to allow us to respond to inquiries and requests
- to allow access to an informational electronic mailing list or database
2. Information Collected by gbcph.org
a. Comments and Keywords submitted to gbcph.org
All comments regarding specific events or keywords for sermons submitted to gbcph.org are tagged with specific information such as IP address and time, as well as with any information voluntarily given. This information is used for internal purposes and will not be supplied to any commercial or private entity outside of Grace Bible Church. IP address and date are used to track down any malicious attempts to vandalize or disrupt gbcph.org or provide us with usage data so we can better serve our members and regular attendees.
b. Information from Sermon Downloads
Gbcph.org captures ip address and date information on all sermons and lessons downloaded from our website or via subscription (i.e. iTunes) in order to track and plan how we can better serve the needs of visitors to our website.
c. Use of 3rd party software or Ads
Gbcph.org uses 3rd party software to play media on our site, there is no intend or implied warranty associated with the use of this software. All software has been tested to ensure safe usage on computers operating within normal operational parameters. You, the user of, or visitor to gbcph.org are solely responsible for how this software interacts on your system.
Gbcph.org is a ministry for members of our church body and those who wish to know more about the Gospel or our ministry. No 3 rd party Ads, Google Ads, or any other ad or traffic monitoring software used to gain marketing data for 3 rd party use will be used at gbcph.org.
3. Information Collected by Shelby Webview
Any Information displayed or submitted to the Members site hosted by Shelby Webview remains property of Grace Bible Church and will not be provided to any 3 rd party except where required by law. All financial transactions are encrypted via RC4 128bit encryption to Shelby Systems our provider for online transactions.
4. How Is Personal Information Used?
Personal information is used by Grace Bible Church staff and elders only for the purpose stated at the time it is collected, e.g. to reply to a question or inquiry or to provide a requested service. Such personal information is never used for secondary or unrelated purposes unless otherwise requested or explicitly agreed to by the website user.
It is the Grace Bible Churches policy never to share, trade, sell or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties without their informed consent or direction except:
- where required by law, e.g. through subpoena, warrant or other legal process
- Grace Bible Church occasionally mails information about our events and publications to its online customers and members. Personal information used for this purpose is never shared with any other organizations.
When requested, and where possible, Grace Bible Church will delete personal information from current operational systems.
5. Links to Third-Party Sites
Gbcph.org provides a number of links to third-party sites and assumes no responsibility for the information practices of websites a user is able to access through ours. The Church encourages all web visitors to review the privacy policies and statements of all externally-linked websites.
Use of gbcph.org is at your discretion and not required for participation in GBC activities.
